MEDINDIE, SA

The development of a Master Plan for the Wilderness Boarding House followed the completion of the Multipurpose Hall. The boarding facilities lacked good ICT, required a fire upgrade and needed to be transformed to remain competitive. The work had to be undertaken while maintaining accommodation for boarders.

The first three stages of the Master Plan have been completed, including an upgrade of all existing student rooms, amenities and a new boarders dining room, commercial kitchen and cafe that services the whole school. The cafe has become a social hub for the school with parents having coffee together after morning drop off.
