UNISA MAWSON LAKES CAMPUS MASTER PLAN, SA

Phillips/Pilkington Architects completed a Master Plan of the Mawson Lakes Campus for the University of South Australia to transform the campus into an integrated education research precinct enhancing the student experience.  A key aspect of the Master Plan was developing a unified landscape proposal with Aspect to create passive and active recreational opportunities.  A new green heart, environmental and technology trails, together with sporting facilities will enhance the campus.

The Master Plan involved working with more than 26 existing buildings, predominately from the 1960’s, with potential risk items such as hazardous materials, earthquake upgrades, and disability access issues.
