MOORUNDI HEALTH CENTRE

The Moorundi Health Centre incorporates Ngarrindjeri health services that are in disparate locations across Murray Bridge into one, highly functional facility that exemplifies innovation containing state of the art health facilities, treating clients holistically.  The facility is underpinned by three pillars of care:
1. Cultural & Country
2. Spiritual & Mind
3. Physical & Body

Ngarrindjeri culture and art has been featured throughout the design, layout, and landscape to ensure an inclusive facility where everyone feels welcomed and comfortable. The clinic features an integrated landscape utilising biophilic design principles that enables respite, with the opportunity to wait outside as well as within the building, creating opportunities for outdoor consultation. The clinic will offer a wide range of services catering for acute presentations, chronic disease, mental health conditions and Ngangkari clinics providing traditional healing. The design has been developed with reference to the Australian Health Facility Guidelines for community healthcentres.
