HILLS CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY SCHOOL STAGES 1 & 2

Phillips/Pilkington Architects completed a Master Plan for Hills Christian Community School in 2018 with an update in 2023 for the commencement of 2024. The Master Plan capitalises on the beautiful Verdun environment, and responds to the challenging topography and Onkaparinga River floodplain, promoting a sense of community and identity for the school.

The first stage of the Hills Christian Community School project involved the relocation of Middle & Senior Schools from the Oakbank Campus, Verdun site which includes two new buildings, the Middle School Building (Years 8-9) and the Senior School Building (Years 10-12). The development included a variety of learning areas including Food Technology, Chemistry Laboratory & General Science, Art Room, Tutorial Room & Breakout Space, as well as Student Services, Administration, and Staff Amenities.

Stage 2 of the Master Plan was constructed in 2024 and includes secondary learning and collaborative spaces together with music facilities.
