MARION CULTURAL CENTRE, SA
In association with Melbourne architects Ashton Raggatt McDougall, Phillips/Pilkington Architects designed a major new cultural landmark building in Marion which incorporates a new central library and information centre, art gallery and workshop space, multipurpose performance hall, cafe and plaza. The innovative design has proved to be very popular with marion's young people and has contributed to substantial increases in library patronage. The project was construction managed with a value management exercise utilised to achieve the project budget.
