MALVERN RESIDENCE, SA

The Malvern residence is a modern family home in a streetscape of Victorian villas. Planning constraints stipulated that development should be single storey or if two storey the second storey had to be created within the roof profile. The design responds to the surrounding context while developing a modern expression utilising limestone walling, expressed galvanised steel structure and galvanised iron roofing. Indoor and outdoor living spaces are seamlessly linked with a pool as the focus for entertaining.
