Phillips/Pilkington Architects prepared a design proposal for the SAHT’s parcel of land within the Lochiel Park Housing Development. The Lochiel Park is intended to become a national model of a “green village”. The scheme yields 21 units and incorporates passive solar design, disabled access compliant ground floor units, complete solar power and rainwater collection, avoidance of overlooking and has met the requirement for a 7.5 star rating via ‘AccuRate’ computer modelling software.
