WOODCROFT COLLEGE JUNIOR SCHOOL MULTIPURPOSE HALL, SA

Woodcroft College have received funding from the Federal Government BER program to further implement the master plan designed by Phillips/Pilkington Architects. PPA have been engaged to design a new Multipurpose Hall seating 375 people to be used for drama performances, battle of the bands, house assemblies and showcase performances. The Hall has a large stage area with wings and control room. The school also required new toilet facilities and a refurbished foyer. The main hall space has been designed to be as flexible as possible as the space is to be used as a junior school physical activity area during class hours. The Hall is an extension to the schools existing Administration building and its external materials are chosen to be harmonious with its surrounds.
